CHOC #HOSPITAL BEACH #MURAL

This is one of eight murals I painted for Choc Children’s Hospital of Orange County. The mural themes are reflective of the themes of the eight floors of the hospital. This is a whimsical depiction of the beach with various beach creatures such as a crab, birds and tide pool life.

Rite Aid Shopping Center Murals – Muralist Carolee Merrill

Here are murals that I painted for Rite Aid in Pasadena.  Rite Aid had wanted me to brighten a dark corridor from the parking lot to the stores.  The theme was the orange crate labels from the 40’s. I incorporated the art of four orange crate labels, and recreated the feel of Pasadena with the mountains and orange groves from the 40’s. New Murals# at Shopping Center in Mission Viejo – Muralist# Carolee Merrill

I recently painted lettering and floral murals at a shopping center in Mission Viejo.  I was initially a bit nervous as I had to operate a 60′ boom to reach the top of the towers, as you can see in the second picture.  I got used to being up on the boom pretty quickly, and the job went smoothly.  – Muralist Carolee Merrill  fineartmuralist.net

Muralist Carolee Merrill Paints New Mural for Rite Aid in Pasadena

I painted these two 11′ x 30′, and 11′ x 15, murals for the Rite Aid shopping center in South Pasadena.  It depicts the orange crate label art that was popular between 1900 and 1945 when orange groves grew though out Los Angeles and Orange County.  Please check out the video and gallery below.
